Goodnight Little One

Goodnight Little One

Lights out, and your child is wide, wide awake. Counting sheep? Boring. But there is a secret goodnight trick.

The trick is a small gratitude ritual - a calm, grateful way to close a busy day that your child will ask for every night, and that you can do right alongside them. Your child stars in it by name and by face, in their own little bed.

Lights out, and your child is wide awake - tossing, turning, kicking the quilt. A soft voice from the hall says “Try counting sheep,” so your child tries. The sheep are fluffy, slow and very, very boring. Then your child remembers a secret goodnight trick: a gentle way to look back on the day, say thank you for all the running and building, and let a busy body go quiet. By the last page the whole house is asleep. The trick itself stays a surprise until you open the book - and it is one you will want to borrow.

It gives them a way to end a busy day with thanks - for what they did and for the body that did it - so busy turns into calm, one night at a time.

Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right.

How the magic happens
  1. Upload a photo. Every Blankie story begins with your favorite picture of your little one.
  2. We add a sprinkle of imagination. The real child becomes the storybook hero, name on the cover and all.
  3. The adventure begins. Page by page they are brave, kind and curious, learning life's gentle lessons along the way.

Loved by our customers

“The sheep are boring. Lucas agrees. The goodnight trick, though, is now our actual bedtime routine and he's asleep in ten minutes.”
“A thank-you for the day, for running and building and for the body that did it. I've started doing it myself after lights out.”
“Tossing, turning, kicking the quilt - that's her. Seeing herself do it in the book somehow made her stop doing it.”
“Short lines, sounds to act out, and it gets quieter as it goes. Perfect for a 2-year-old who fights sleep.”
“We'd tried everything. This gave us a ritual that she asks for instead of fighting. 'Can we do the trick?'”
“My mom wrote the dedication. 'Goodnight, Ivy' on the cover with her face and Grandma's words inside. Our favorite thing in the nursery.”
“By the last page the whole house is asleep. Including, most nights, me.”
“Gratitude for toddlers without being preachy. It's just a sleepy kid saying thank you. We love it.”
